My client, a local market leader in their field has an excellent opportunity for a Purchase ledger clerk who is keen to progress their career in accounts

Working as part of a team, take responsibility for part of the purchase ledger function

Your main duties will be to process all suppliers invoices, ensuring that all invoices are accounted for on a timely basis
Make payments and process any queries that suppliers may have.
Complete Supplier reconciliations and maintain
Reconcile accounts for each accounting period in line with month end deadlines
Support with month end cashbook processing, expenses and in the completion and integrity of the management accounts.
Maintain aged creditor report
Maintain purchase order database

This role would ideally suit a candidate with good academics who is keen to study for an accounting qualification and progress their career.
You should also have at least 1 years experience in accounts, and now looking to make your second move .
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to problem solve and work within a busy environment.
Excellent I.T skills including ERP systems and Excel would be advantageous
