You will assist and support the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the Accounts Payable function. You will ensure that all invoices are processed, paid and reconciled in a timely manner.

You are accountable for:

Month end reconciliation of all key suppliers.
Month end reconciliation of month end intercompany balances.
Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within purchase ledger.
Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
Weekly and monthly BACS payments.
Chasing debit balances.
Chasing and monitoring outstanding invoices.
Monitoring Direct Debit suppliers and ensuring timely receipt of invoices.
The close down of ledger to deadline.

You will also get involved in:

Support members of the wider finance team as necessary.

Sales and Profit:

Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements and resolution of supplier queries.

Book keeping experience.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work to monthly deadlines.
An aptitude for IT.
Attention to detail.
Planning and organisational skills.
Experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment.
