I am currently working with a large client in Basingsoke looking for a 12 month fixed term contract Purchase Ledger Assistant.

Job Duties

The assist the control and administration of the Firm’s purchase ledger including supplier statement reconciliations, liaison with suppliers, the set-up of new suppliers, the processing of credit applications and maintaining up-to-date supplier addresses on the Firm’s accounting system.

Administration of the Firm’s cheque stock including ordering, logging and distribution to other offices.

Preparation of cheques including cover for cashiers on centralised cheques as reasonably required.

Processing of bank transfers.

Processing and administration of employee expenses including input and payment.

Responsibility for the filing and archiving of the Firm’s purchase ledger and expenses records.

Financial management reporting as required including the production of creditor reports.

Skills Required

Purchase ledger experience

Proven accuracy and attention to detail

IT Literate

Available to start within 1 week
