Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger
REED in Bromley are working with a fast paced organisation in Sevenoaks. The organisation is looking for somebody who can integrate into the accounts team quickly and smoothly reporting to the purchase ledger manager.
- Coding and Posting purchase invoices.
- Checking purchase invoices against agreed supplier pricing schedules.
- Querying purchase invoices where necessary and resolving query to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Raising cheque payments and preparing BACS and international payments.
- Being main point of contact for suppliers and accounts departments with regard to invoicing queries etc.
- Other general duties as reasonably required by the purchase ledger manager.
- Compiling reports as required for the purchase ledger manager.
- A quick learner
- Excellent communication skills written and oral
- Experience in Accounts Payable or Receivable
- Experience in Purchase Ledger
- A working knowledge of MS office and Excel
