A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Support Officer to provide support for a busy team within a well-known and highly respected Local Authority. This role is based on an ongoing temporary contract, on a full time basis, and is available immediately.

What’s my role?

To work closely with all members of Trafford Councils’ Children, Families and Wellbeing (CFW) directorate. A dedicated programme has been established within the CFW directorate with the aim of designing and delivering high quality care and support services through an all age, integrated delivery model for health and social care.

Within this role you will therefore provide project support across Public Health in order to progress relevant work streams and projects. You will provide effective and efficient administration and finance support to the service. In addition, you will compile data and statistical records on spreadsheets, to be used in reporting and monitoring business and project process.

Maintaining databases and providing management information that informs Public Health systems, and general management of sensitive and confidential data will also be required.

What skills do I need?

• Extensive experience in a Project Support Officer role within a large, multifunctional organisation.

• Experience organising and maintaining management information systems, including databases.

• Ability to provide strong administrative support, including taking notes and minutes, while handling sensitive and confidential information.

• Experience of financial data management and reporting.

• Previous experience of planning and delivering events, and coordinating activities.

The successful candidate will be able to thrive in a fast paced and outcome focused environment. You will possess great attention to detail and be able to multi-task effectively. You will also be proactive, highly motivated, organised and have the ability to work as part of a team.

Previous experience working within a Local Authority environment would be advantageous.
