A Global Bank currently have an urgent requirement for a hands on Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract based in London.

Your responsibility will be for the successful design and execution of a large redress project.

• Support the wider Redress programme providing input to the scheduling and progress reporting
• Evaluate and analyse activities with an understanding of the business to intuitively shape and craft business solutions to meet the desired results
• Ensuring the project and resources adhere to the governance framework and project lifecycle, completing mandatory documentation to provide consistency amongst work packages
• To ensure redress work packages are delivered in line with the documented processes providing an excellent customer experience and mitigate / minimise reputational risk. Some travel may be required to work with colleagues around the UK
• Engagement and management of 3rd parties, defining deliverables, monitoring progress and reviewing outputs
• Working with the Head of Redress, project and product managers, subject matter experts, analytics, internal and external providers to execute processes and take the lead completing the agreed redress activities
• Proactive management of project costs and developing forecasts

• Experience in a relevant role, i.e. Project Manager or operational lead on past business review initiative
• Commercial lending experience is desirable but not essential
• Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. redress projects within a regulated financial services environment. (Commercial Banking experience preferred)
• Understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
• Excellent Stakeholder Management skills
• Experience of planning projects and activities in line with business priorities, using a variety of techniques
• A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others’ compliance with relevant regulatory processes
• Solution orientated with the ability to recommend simple solutions to complex issues
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow them through to resolution accurately and in a timely manner
