My client are a large public services company based in Hertfordshire. They are looking for a Project manager- Estates and Facilities. This role will be for 12 months and will be interesting and rewarding role.

Role Duties

To assist in developing and ensuring the successful delivery of the the Headquarters site.
To ensure this new facility is delivered successfully, to a clear scope, brief and budget, and that it is properly integrated into the operations of the Constabulary on completion.
To ensure that the project is delivered in line with agreed programme.
To prepare regular update reports/presentations to Corporate Estates Strategy Board
To maintain and develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to the delivery of capital projects
To support the estates team of project managers, sharing knowledge and expertise, establishing common practices and structures, and working collaboratively with wider 
Financial e.g. limits/mandates Non-financial e.g. staff responsibility
Project must be delivered to an agreed budget.
No direct line management responsibility

For this role:

The post holder will be educated to degree level and ideally hold a PRINCE 2 qualification
The post holder will have extensive experience of successfully delivering complex capital building projects on time and to budget.
The post holder will have a demonstrable track record in financial and budget management, knowledge of contract and tender procedures, experience of managing contracts and contractors, and a strong knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
The post holder will ideally have experience of working within a 'live' estate; 
The key to the role will be excellent stakeholder management.

Extra information

This role requires the post holder to have a full, valid UK driving licence and access to their own car, as they will be required to travel. 
The post holder will be required to work in different locations across Hertfordshire.
The post holder will be expected to undertake training as and when required.
The post holder will be expected to comply with health and safety requirements
