I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager for my client based in Caerphilly. This role is working with a European Wide Organisation who are expanding their current infrastructure and security team. The salary for this role is up to £40,000 per annum and offers 24 days holiday & bank holidays, onsite parking, a good pension scheme and a 10% bonus scheme.
You will work with the Infrastructure and Security Manager to ensure you are reporting on projects on a regular basis, communicating effectively across a variety of internal and external stakeholders – ensuring you are building effective relationships. You will lead weekly stand-up meetings and develop project plans, being the conduit between the business and the IT team for working requests. You will create and maintain documents, meet budgetary objectives and travel to other offices when needed.
You will have at least 3 - 5 years’ experience within an IT Project Manager role, implementing and migrating from physical to virtual desktops. You will have a strong understanding of project management methods, frameworks and terminology. You will be a people person have be comfortable communicating with stakeholders effectively. You will be organised and have the ability to lead meetings / teams. You may have a Prince 2 Qualification but this is not essential. You will have good knowledge around Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Linux and Virtualisation Technologies.
