 A excellent opportunity has been made available for a Project Assistant / Health and Safety Assistant to work on a project expected to last for about 6 months.

Due to location you would need to be a driver however free parking is offered. They are open between 8am-5.30pm and are happy to be flexible with hours on a full time basis.

Provide the services of a Project assistant who should have a pro-active approach in performing duties and assume control of the project management office and its facilities to allow the Site management team to function with maximum efficiency. The Project assistant shall be an integral part of the team and assist with delivering a successful project as required by the Site Manager.

The Project assistant duties shall include, but not be limited to the following;

• Assisting the site manager with site Health and safety, issuing hot work permits, site walk abounds, secretarial and administrative duties
• Deliver the site induction, which comprises of reading a 30 minute presentation to a group of up to 8 people and recording attendances.
• Liaise with security to coordinate deliveries and move deliveries (some light lifting)
• Compile daily manpower records.

• Be responsible for placing deliveries into the stores and then issuing them to contractors.
• Produce documents (reports, letters, minutes of meetings etc using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
• Liaise with suppliers during the course of the project and present a daily delivery report on all awaited project materials.
• Scan and forward invoices and related documents
• Undertake goods receipting of all site deliveries.
• Undertake filing, (electronic and paper copies) of all project related documentation
• Act as a first point of contact within project management office.
