My client in Guildford are currently looking to recruit an experienced Project Administrator. This is a 12 month fixed term contract and salary will be depending on experience. 

Your key purpose is to support the project managers with documentation management
and some project administration. Responsible for documentation delivery and
configuration control within a project.


Key Tasks: 

Organisation and management of the document register to control issue and receipt
of all documentation
Interfacing with customer counterpart for documentation control and delivery.
Co-ordination and compilation of data and information, liaison with project teams for
all document submissions.
Project documentation & deliverables - ensure submissions are in a timely manner
checking, formatting, circulating for sign-off, scanning, updating delivery schedules,
distribution and configuration control.
Preparing data packs (hard copy folders, CDs, zip and use of FTP servers)
Coordinating presentation materials for review and delivery.
Maintaining Action items and Risk lists.
Archiving of documentation
Regular audits of the document Control system to ensure full Project compliance
Presenting small group training sessions for EDMS (ST and/or Sharepoint)
Ad-hoc administrative tasks
Any other reasonable duties as required by Supervisor/Manager

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:  

Possess good analytic, numeric and literacy skills 
Good GCSE/equivalent English and Maths grades

Experience of Document Control within multiple projects simultaneously
Experience of working within a busy, pressured environment
Experience of working within a high-tech and/or engineering organisation useful but not essential

High degree of competency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook and Sharepoint.
Skills in Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access and Visio useful but not
essential.

Good knowledge of electronic data management systems
Excellent organisation skills and ability to create efficient filing systems
Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
Flexible and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
High level of concentration, meticulous attention to detail
Able to deal with a variety of different tasks in a team environment, reporting to
several Project Managers
