Your New Role

My client is seeking to recruit a Programme Planning & Dependencies Manager to provide support across the programmes; this will require both hands on development of programme Level information as well as, upskilling PPM resources and supporting plan development within the constituent Projects and Functional Workstreams as required which are all critical to successful programme delivery.

The Programmes are expected to continue through 2019, therefore, the Programme Planning and Dependencies Manager will be required to support this time period. This role will report into the IPMO.

Conditions

The role requires current CTC, Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance at a minimum. The post holder MUST be a UK National with no Dual Nationalities.

What you need to succeed


Experience


• Experience of working as a Programme Planner/Dependency Manager within a complex programme and political environment involving multiple disciplines
• Significant experience in planning complex projects and programmes, within a dynamic environment and use of formal methods(s), constructing and managing plans for large multidisciplinary programmes of work (Business Change and IT) utilising planning tool(s)
• Significant experience in the use of project planning and reporting tools, with experience of using the detailed functional capabilities to support complex planning and reporting requirements specifically MS Project and MS Visio
• Experience of working within a Programme/Project Management Office structure, to defined methodologies and standards, ideally using PRINCE2 and MSP

Desirables

• Experience of working in Programmes and Projects within the public sector
• Knowledge of stakeholder management and engagement
• Working knowledge of performance measurement within the public sector
