An opportunity has arisen to join one the largest retail FMCG retail brands in the world on a fixed term basis, to cover maternity. Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, you will have a genuine opportunity to have open lines of communication and to shape and influence the way in which the business markets is products.

A classic product management role, you will have a genuine appetitite to take ownership , drive product plans and manage a large product portfolio, therefore  requiring organisation and planning, with a commitment to hitting deadlines.

Core duties will include:

- Managing the Ronseal Product Portfolio
- Understand the brand and competitors through consistent market and competitor analysis
- Developing a deep understanding of the target end-user through in-depth research
- Assisting in the development of category plans to increase participation in growth markets
- Executing competitive NPD plans managing projects from concept through to launch
- Developing competitive packaging and pack design solutions
- Planning, managing and executing video and photography shoots as required
• Developing a comprehensive suite of product support, including end user brochures, and any other required POS
- Present plans to the Salesforce to ensure successful product launches
- Assisting in presentations to accounts, improving ROS of existing products & maximising distribution of NPD
- Liaising with all departments including, R&D, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Warehousing and Admin to ensure smooth running of the brand and success in the marketplace
- Managing marketing budgets allocated, effectively and without overspend

Naturally, you'll be an ambitious, driven, outgoing individual, capable of driving brand growth.

Beyond this, you'll have a University Business / Marketing Degree or Marketing Qualification (E.g. CIM) and 3 years’ experience in a Marketing or Business environment.

You'll have experience presenting to internal & external audiences, be able to plan and prioritise multiple projects and demanding deadlines, be Literate, Numerate, and able to understand budgets and undertake market analysis.
