My client is currently looking for a procurement manager to support the Director of Procurement in the development of a strategic and professional procurement team that acts as central commercial expertise of this organisation.
The main purpose of the role is to support the organisations strategic objectives by leading on the procurement of high value and urgent fire safety related projects and other maintenance, repairs and operational (MRO) spend. – This is really important and something the organisation is looking for within this candidate to have.
You will be expected to demonstrate extensive technical knowledge and experience in public sector procurement, especially surrounding the delivery of above OJEU works and service contracts.
My Client would be looking for someone who requires advanced stakeholder management, influencing skills, advanced knowledge of forms of contract and able to deliver projects on a timely mannerly.
