Our client are recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join their team in Kendal. Our client are a well known, well established manufacturing company.
We’re looking for a dynamic candidate, a procurement professional who has the ability to lead and manage a small commercial buying team.
This role will be responsible for turning business strategy into procurement improvement plans along with leading and developing your team talent and skills in line to meet the future demands of the business.
This role will be instrumental in the future success of the business and in helping our client develop robust supply chains and partnering models.
Ideally you’ll be MCIPS qualified and previous experience of engineering procurement would be advantageous. Knowledge of compliance legislation, stores and inventory management would also be desirable.
As the successful candidate will be leading a team we are looking for a candidate that has previous leadership experience or holds a level 3 qualification in Leadership & Management or Chartered Management Institute.
