Our client, a fantastioc local authority based in Brent, NW London, are looking for a Principal Insurance Officer to work within their Resources Department.
The role will involve providing effective insurance solutions, claims management, and professional support through the co-ordination and management of Brent Council's insurance programmes. This will include:
* Management of external service providers, i.e. brokers, insurers and claims support
* Management of claims against the council.
* Maintenance and upgrade the Local Authority Claims Handling System (LACHS)
* Analysis of claims tends and changes in legislation to identify wider impacts.
This is a 3 months contract subject to extension, working within a fantastic state of the art facility.
