Reed Education are working with a ‘Good’ graded primary school in Leeds, to help them recruit a KS1 Primary Teacher for September 2017. The roles have become available due to internal promotions within the school.

We are looking for a candidate that is driven & demonstrates excellent classroom management skills to support all children’s needs.

Our schools are highly regarded Primary schools in the Leeds area who focus on teaching their children in a fun but challenging way. They understand that each child has their own needs and expect you to cater for this.
If successful, you will be joining a high achieving mainstream primary school in the inner city area of Leeds.

Job Specification | KS1 Primary Teacher

You are applying for a Full-Time and Permanent KS1 Primary Teacher position in a ‘Good’ graded Leeds primary school. You will be working in an inclusive classroom, with SEN and mixed ability pupils, supported by an intelligent graduate or highly experienced teaching assistant. This KS1 Teacher position involves refining your teaching skills and learning new pedagogical methods on the schools CPD programme. An inclusive approach to teaching at all times is paramount to being a success at this school and make the most of the schools useful interactive resources.
Key responsibilities and requirements for this teaching role will include;

• Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
• Must be committed to achieving high standards within teaching
• Motivate pupils and adapt teaching skills for children that have social and emotional difficulties.
• Provide feedback to parents on pupils progress at parents evenings
