Reed Education are currently working with a primary school in Bordesley Green who are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work within their school from September. You will be working closely with individuals who have an EHCP, are achieving at a lower ability and have SEND. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide interventions within English and Maths and focus on producing activities that are tailored towards their requirements and ensure that progression is being made.
You will be an individual who has a distinct knowledge of special educational needs and has previous experience of supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will be confident, compassionate and patient and have a positive and enthusiastic approach. You will be someone who can use their own initiative and deal with challenging situations in a calming and effective manner.
