This school are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work within their provision on a temporary basis from January within their SEN Resource Hub. You will be working closely on a 1:1 and small group basis with children who have Autism and Down Syndrome and support them in improving their engagement and abilities within the classroom.
The ideal candidate will be an individual who has a distinct understanding and knowledge of differing special education needs, including Autism and Down Syndrome and has relevant experience in working with these particular students. You will be a confident, compassionate and patient individual and have a positive and enthusiastic approach. You will be someone who can use their own initiative and deal with challenging situations in a calming and effective manner.
***Level 3 Qualification and proven experience working within a primary school classroom setting.

***£65-75 pound per day

This Church of England school turned into an academy in 2013 and are rated ‘Outstanding’ through Ofsted. They are a 2 form entry school with 422 pupils on roll and have a separate nursery base within the school. As an inclusive school, you will be joining a supportive team where you will be given excellent opportunities to progress within your career and are open to specific training opportunities. The school have an SEN hub and are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with these pupils.
