Reed Education Cardiff are currently working exclusively with a mainstream Primary school based on the outskirts of Caerphilly. This Primary school are looking to add a 1:1 LSA with SEN experience to their existing team to support a young pupil within their Key Stage 2 Department.

About the role…
A single form entry mainstream Primary school based on the outskirts of Caerphilly with over 200 3-11 aged pupils. They are looking to recruit a 1:1 LSA on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave. This opportunity has either an immediate start or January 2020 start depending on individual requirements. The successful candidate will be supporting a young pupil in Key Stage 2 on a 1:1 basis with various SEN/ALN requirements.

Following Estyn inspection, the school achieved Good ratings across the board. Due to the schools location a stones throw from nature trails, parks and rivers they encourage outdoor learning.

About you…
To be successful in this role you must have a minimum 6 months experience working with children with SEN statements within an educational setting. Experience with PECS and Makaton are an advantage but not essential. You will be willing to go the extra mile to ensure these pupils are able to reach their potential.
