Do you have previous experience as a Premises Manager and looking for a new challenge?
Are you highly confident with procedures including health and safety and high compliance?
Are you methodical, highly organised, and comfortable putting strategies together?

My client on the outskirts of Ipswich, is looking to add to their senior management team with recruiting a Premises Manager to start in the first quarter of 2021. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the estate, to provide a safe working environment for everyone and to ensure cost-effective use of finances are always taken into consideration.

What’s involved?
You will be responsible for line managing a team of 5 including a Supervisor that has a team of over 30 people and looking after a range of site contractors.
Keeping up to date records and reports and being accountable for the general maintenance and upkeep of the site and buildings.
Being responsible for the security of the site.
Risk management and health and safety responsibility.
Managing premises budgets and preparing bids and proposals.
Managing any third-party contracts.
Project Management and liaising with contractors.
Arranging transport on and off site.
Communicating with all stakeholders, staff, and other people on site.
Attend out of hours site emergencies

Why you?
You will be a very confident communicator with experience of running and managing a large operation. You will be highly organised with the ability to see things through to completion and work to tight deadlines. You must have the ability to understand and apply regulations such as Health and Safety, Manual Handling COSHH and have an IOSH managing qualification. If you have a NEBOSH qualification, this would be an advantage but is not essential as they can put you through training to obtain this. You will have previous experience managing budgets, analysing data, and following high compliance policies and procedures.
