PMO Lead | Project Management Office Lead | Project | Program | Programme | job | permanent | Brighton

PMO Lead required to join a regulatory body based in Brighton to lead management and execution of key PMO processes in support of the successful delivery the digital transformation programme. 

Responsibilities:

• Focus on delivery management and ‘light’ assurance of work stream and Programme Performance
• Driving proactive RAIDD activity to ensure timely and effective mitigation action
• Active tracking of Programme Finances in line delivery plan and resource changes
• Identification of financial opportunities and risks
• Embedding contract management practices and facilitating Supplier Relation Management
• Management of Programme level contract responsibilities collaboratively with Programme Manager and Programme Director
• Maintains key planning tools

Essential skills / experience:
• Proven, robust PMO lead with substantial experience of supporting significant change within a large or complex business including systems development
• Knowledge and experience of resourcing and budgets
• Knowledge and experience of project planning and reporting
• Knowledge and experience of maintaining RAIDD Logs
• Building relationships and influencing key members of project / programme teams including sponsor and director level
• Experience of managing external stakeholders, such as suppliers and holding them to account on contractual obligations (Stakeholder Relationship Management).
• Line management experience of key programme PMO roles e.g. project coordinators
• Background and qualification in project / programme management e.g. PRINCE2, Agile etc and PMO Management.
Problem Solving
• Ability to determine and adhere to relevant governance approach for respective project / programme
• To illicit and collate key project / programme information from relevant personnel e.g. project Managers, Business Analysts etc,
• Ability to record and assimilate key information ensuring it is both accurate and timely
• To collate accurate project / programme resource plans highlighting any issues and mitigating actions
• Pro-actively track the progress of project / programme benefits ensuring that alignment with strategic objectives and the original business case
