PMO Lead – Reed Professional Services are currently recruiting a PMO Lead for one of our logistics client based in central London.

This role will make a significant contribution to the aspects of the Business IT Operations division, which enables the organisation to meet its business goals and to achieve statutory and business reporting requirements. It will give comprehensive support and advice to senior management, on a range of complex or contentious issues including challenging them, thus facilitating effective management based on sound performance information within the organisation.

This is a 6-month contract paying up to £450 per day

Your responsibilities as PMO Lead include:
• Have experience or knowledge in setting up PMO controls and processes
• Have proven ability to deliver quality deliverables
• Excellent Stakeholder management skills
• Programme and Portfolio governance experience
• Programme and Project auditing skills
• Have excellent inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to communicate a wide variety of complex information to senior managers and executives in both oral and written format that is intelligible to all using a variety of techniques. It is therefore essential the post holder can gain credibility and forge strong working relationships with these staff to influence and help shape the plans of the business.
• Have excellent analytical and numerical skills – confident with statistics and their presentation.
• Have strongly developed leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Have excellent prioritisation and co-ordination skills, combined with the ability to work to multiple deadlines under pressure
• Be logical and methodical, with attention to detail
• Have excellent problem solving skills
• Have excellent time management skills
• Experience in Resource Management across IT Services
• Experience in Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Consulting background is advantageous
