Our client is a multinacional company and make metal components for automotive sector and we looking for a
PLC Specialist
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology (or similar program)
• Experience with controls, PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Ability to train, teach, and assess other Controls Technician trainees in the Career Path program, working well and leading and mentoring in a team environment
• Experience in machine repair of either metal stamping equipment, spot/resistance welding, robotic welders, or grinding and finishing equipment
• Experience with electrical trouble-shooting and performing electrical maintenance on equipment
• Ability to read, follow and understand electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals and manufacturers’ specifications
• Ability to read and understand advanced electrical prints and schematics as needed to facilitate complex repairs or installation of equipment
• Knowledge in all Allen Bradley PLC’s and Rockwell programming software (including RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5, RSLogix 5000, and Panelbuild32)
• Experience with servo systems, variable speed drive controllers, and both AC and DC motors
• Proven mechanical and electrical inclination and general math and manufacturing knowledge through standardized tests
• Computer literacy
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• An excellent work record, including attendance

Outstanding candidates will possess the following Desired Requirements:

• Previous experience in a metal-forming manufacturing environment
• Experience leading other Control and Maintenance Technicians
