Financial Services Pensions Administrator £20,000 - £30,000, Dependant upon experience (County Durham)

I am delighted to be working closely with a client who  is looking for a Financial Services Support Administrator.
My client would be particularly interested if you have strong Pensions knowledge, particularly within Defined Benefits.
This role would be ideal if you have had some exposure to the Financial Services industry within an Administrative capacity and are looking for your next step. 
My client has had a very large influx of work come in, so now would be an excellent time to join



As a successful candidate you will be required to:

Produce portfolios and valuation reports for a number of Directors / Advisors.
Experience of Defined benefits Pensions 
Call providers to obtain valuations and chase for missing information.
Ensure that all documents are organised and packaged correctly for client visits.
There is a lot of New Business within the branch, so you will need to undertake New Business quotations.
Provide general support administration to the advisors.
Enter details into an in house database
Have the opportunity to work in various departments and provide admin cover, as and when required.

In order to apply you will need to have:

Experience of working within a Financial Services organisation / IFA Practice
A background within Administration within Pensions, Defined Benefits /  Pension Transfers
The ability to chase information and get to the bottom of matters quickly.
Ability to apply common sense to situations as and when necessary
Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of communicating at various levels.
The ability to effectively plan and prioritise the day.
My client is flexible and will look at various levels of candidate with exposure to DB / Pensions Transfer work.
Level 4 Diploma qualification would be desirable, or any progress towards Financial Services examinations.
