Reed are delighted to work in partnership with Leicester City Council in providing them with temporary Administration and Business Support staff.

Although these are initially temporary vacancies, many people do manage to secure Fixed Term or Permanent posts (Approximately 66% of candidates) during their temporary job role – though this is no guarantee.

Summary of job tasks: 

1. Processes pay and employee benefits for new starters, leavers and changes.
2. Formally notifies employees of changes to their terms and conditions and give quality contractual and pay advice to key stakeholders.
3. Calculates changes to pay in accordance with occupational and statutory requirements.
4. Negotiates appropriate levels of recovery of overpayments.
5. Responds to queries interpreting relevant policies and procedures
6. Resolves the more complex tasks and situations unresolved by other members in the team.
7. Communicates changes to terms and conditions of employment accurately in writing.
8. Works to set tasks, as directed by the manager and the senior staff.
9. Liaises with managers on pay and processing queries.
