One of London's most renowned Public sector organisations is looking for a Payroll Officer to join them on a permanent basis. This position is among a small team and reports into the Payroll Manager.
Key duties will include:
- Review, processing and paying of payroll
- Processing benefit deductions according to associate requests
- Submission of tax and national insurance payments, ensuring these are processed in a timely manner in according to with UK regulations (liaising with HMRC on tax, national insurance, processes and procedures to ensure full compliance with UK regulations)
- Experience with payroll from start to finish ESSENTIAL
- Solid knowledge of Payroll Accounting, UK HMRC requirements and other related fields.
- Solid experience with using Microsoft Office including word, excel, email etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven relationship building skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Comfortable within a small team
