 I am working with a client who is urgently looking for a Payroll Officer for an immediate start withing Birmingham City Centre. The role is a long term temporary position with the potential to become permanent. The role is required to manage a monthly payroll from updating the payroll data provided by the HR team to Processing the monthly payroll. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Managing the monthly payroll for all staff ( c 300 staff) which includes updating the system for pay changes , starters , leavers and & deductions for employee benefits

Calculating right amounts to pay, deductions , overtime, bonuses, back pay, allowances, SMP , SPP, Holiday pay, pay increases, overtime and any other pay related calculations

 

Qualifications  - Essential

Certificate in Payroll administration Level 1 or above

Knowledge of Computer Payroll Systems

Desirable

Relevant experience in accounts, book keeping

CPP-Certified Payroll Professional
