This role will see you leading or taking part in assigned projects and working collaboratively with external partners and agencies.

Based in Weston-Super-mare, this great organisation is offering a one year fixed term contract, 20 hours per week, for a payroll officer with a start salary of £24,109.26 per annum pro rata for part time (£12,858.27 per annum for 20 per week).

You will need to be prepared to work flexibly to meet the delivery of payroll.

Responsibilities Include:

 Oversee and ensure the delivery of a timely, efficient and accurate payroll service for the entire payroll cycle, ensuring internal and statutory compliance
 Process manual calculations when required, to ensure payroll items are calculated correctly
 Administer and coordinate the processing of the company’s pension schemes
 Oversee and audit the input work of the HR team and business expenses
 Keep up to date with payroll legislation and best practice, implementing changes as required
 Implement auditing systems, procedures and policies across the payroll provision to ensure compliance
 Payroll system ‘super-user’, solving problems, testing upgrades and implanting changes
 Work with your customers to respond to service requests within the scope of the service and provide constructive advice/signposting where requests are not Knightstone’s responsibility
 Resolve complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction promptly and keep the complainant informed of progress
 Establish and maintain professional boundaries
 Set up and update data and records electronically and manually
 Represent the business professionally at all times
 Lead or take part in assigned projects
 Work collaboratively with external partners and agencies
 Make sure you understand our business purpose and how you contribute to achieving it.

 Comply with external statutory and regulatory obligations and contractual conditions
 Act flexibly to meet customer and business needs.
