Our global financial services business are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their successful team.
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will form part of a HR team supporting a growing global business. You will process the monthly payroll alongside the HR/Payroll managed service and be responsible for the administration of the Company’s flexible benefits via their tailored platform.
In addition, you will support the HR team with general day to day administration, system updates and reporting.
Duties to include:
Manage and own the end to end outsourced payroll processing for all employees
Collate payroll, benefit and people data for processing in systems
Generate appropriate reports for MI and processing requirements
Check earnings and deduction files
Manage the year end process through the outsourcing provider
Administer Company Pension scheme including monthly Workplace Portal uploads
Act as first point of contact for all payroll, salary, overtime and benefits queries
Liaise with Benefit and Payroll outsourced third parties to ensure contractual obligations are met
Acting as a first point of contact for all payroll and benefits queries/enquiries to support the HR Team
Supporting with recruitment procedures, new starters, contracts, leavers, etc.
Carry out any ad hoc administration and projects as required by the HR Team
Act as systems administrator for the HR database
Key skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a payroll environment.
You will be a competent Excel user, who is familiar with Payroll Software.
As well you will have a good understanding of payroll and benefit legislation, basic understanding of Tax Procedures, familiarity with benefits and other wage deductions.
You will be confident in your ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation as well as capable of working with minimal supervision
ADP payroll software knowledge/experience would be desirable but not essential.
