Established company seek a Payroll Manager to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.  Reporting to the Director this role is responsible for the following duties:
*Inputting data relating to staff payments ensuring staff are paid on time
*Payroll returns and HMRC returns
*Ensure full compliance to p[ension scheme
*Implement cost of living reviews
*Statutory sick pay, maternity and paternity pay administration
*Line manger for payroller
*Adhering to payroll policies
*Providing guidance to staff on payroll matters
*Provide Coaching to managers on self service modules
*Liaising with finance department ensuring monthly reconciliations for budget control purposes are done
*Assist with payroll projects
Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be used to overseeing a small team.  Previous public sector exposure is highly desirable.  Strong IT and communication skills are essential as is the ability to deal with people at all levels.
