This August there is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to take on a 1 year FTC at a highly respected Accountancy firm in Central London.

If you have extensive Client Payroll experience (preferably using Star Payroll), have worked in a supervisory role and possess excellent attention to detail then this could be one for you!

Key Duties

· All aspects of start to finish processing of clients’ payrolls (mainly monthly) using Star
· Production of frequency payslips, payroll reports, P45s, P60s
· Calculation of SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP
· Dealing with queries from clients and HMRC
· Dealing with end of tax year procedures
· Administration duties associated with payroll
· Managing 2 full time employees
· Processing expenses and benefits
· Manual calculations when necessary


Person Specification

· Start to finish client payroll processing including RTI, auto enrolment (pensions) and payroll aspects of expenses and benefits (desirable but not essential).
· Confident, proactive self-starter, who can work on their own initiative.
· Flexible, with the ability to juggle changing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
·Excellent organisational skills, diligence and accuracy essential.
· A good team player and communicator.
· Good level of Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Experience of Star payroll software
· Ability to carry out manual calculations
· Excellent customer service
