Reed Accountancy are presently recruiting for a payroll clerk to join a busy team on a temporary basis for a company in Birkenhead. The successful candidate must have previous payroll experience with high attention to detail.
Duties to include:
- Dealing with starters and leavers
- Processing payroll for salaried and hourly paid employees
- Entering timesheets to employee reports.
- Supporting the production and process of daily payroll transactions
- Inputting variations and calculations on to the system
- Advising Clients/Employees on PAYE and NIC matters.
- Resolve basic PAYE queries with HMRC.
- Action HMRC coding notices and P45’s.
- High volume Data Entry and spreadsheet work.
- Undertaking general admin duties
- Previous experience working in a payroll team
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work as part to a team
