Currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Clerk for my client based in North Lanarkshire, based on a 4-6 week temporary assignment.
Main duties include:
Checking SSP/SMP/SPP payment are calculated correctly
Thoroughly checking reports prior to payroll
Checking HMRC tax codes and ensuring applied correctly
Compiling weekly timesheets
Calculating hours, travel, expenses for payment through payroll
Dealing with queries via phone/email
Other ad hoc duties as required
Experience with Payroll 200+ Personnel
Experience of Sage Payroll
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
