Key Responsibilities to include:
-Running a portfolio of weekly and monthly payrolls, each having individuals "Terms and Conditions".
-Working in a forward thinking office but within the "Payroll Bureau Department", and sitting within a team where you will be responsible for your own time but with the support of your colleagues.
-Working to very tight deadlines, efficiently and accurately at all times
-Organising and prioritising work according
-Calculating temporary and permanent data, calculating shift pay, SMP, SPP, SSP, DEA's and other Government orders
-Keeping records for holiday entitlements
-Day to day telephone and email contact as and when required, exchanging information regarding changes
With a full understanding of all statutory payments duties also to include:
-Making manual calculations and keeping up to date with changes within the payroll legislation
-Knowledge of the new workplace pension schemes
-Maintaining good working relationships both professionally and personally with clients, other departments and all team members. This can include meetings with clients and third parties where required
-Manually calculating employees back pay
-Other ad hoc duties
To be considered for this role the following needs to be considered:
-Ideally 3-5 years current Payroll Bureau Experience
-Ability to hit the ground running and manage your own portfolio of clients
-Fully up to date with all the regulations related to Payroll
-Ability to prioritise your work load and manage your own time effectively
-Excellent communication skills across team members, clients and other external parties
-Strong work history that shows that you have not moved about too much
