Our client in the FMCG industry is looking to recruit a Payroll /HR Assistant to provide Payroll support to the company in order to manage their Payroll from its Head office for approx 500+ staff. This is a very busy, fast paced and growing environment and a great opportunity to join a fast growing business with the scope to grow with the business. 

Main Responsibilities:

Payroll
• Preparation, running and processing payroll for up to 500 + staff via Sage Line 50 and using Sage Payroll. These systems experience is essential for this position 
• Prepare and deliver regular reporting to key personal
• Process new starter & leavers
• Ensure all employees files contain necessary information for audit purposes

Other duties will entail

• Providing day to day generalist HR support as needed by the management team 
• Assist in the recruitment process for operational and HQ roles
• Support HR projects
• Make sure that contract templates are maintained and updated in line with any amendments

Training Co-Ordination

  • Manage and maintain training plans
  • Assist with succession planning

Knowledge/Skills
• Payroll and HR Generalist experience
• Experience with using Sage Payroll /Sage line 50 for large payrolls - 500+ staff
• Recruitment and Hr generalist experience 
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
• Personable with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and must be Numerate
• Familiar with all Microsoft Packages to an intermediate level
