This is an integral within HR that will require someone to cover the full Payroll function as well as Benefits and Compensation Analysis. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with new starters and leavers including - PAYE, Tax, NI, SSP, SMP, statutory and statutory year end returns including P60s & P11Ds.
- Answer employee queries and resolve payroll/benefit errors in a timely manner.
- Benefits/rewards & pensions - ensuring all employees are allocated to the correct banding and the relevant payments and benefits are correct.
- Accurately track and process employee any pay alterations that have been confirmed and communicated e.g. sick pay, part time contracts and hours etc...
This position will require you to be independent and take full ownership of the payroll data input whilst working closely with the senior HR specialist.
This would position would suit someone who has previous payroll experience and looking to take on further duties, with a keen interest in HR and Employee benefits.
