Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for a Payroll and Benefits Officer who have experience working within a housing organisation. This is an excellent 12 Month Fixed Term opportunity based in Warrington.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Reconciliation of payroll data
• Processing BACs payroll file for all employees net pay
• Complete starter and leaver data
• Preparation and input of payroll information e.g. court orders, student loan deductions
• Calculation of back pay for starts and pro rata salary for leavers
• Liaise with external agencies and companies to resolve payroll related queries e.g. Tax, NI and Pensions
• Manual calculations for BACs and CHAPs.
• Calculate SMP entitlements
• Process P11D’s and P45’s.

Ideally you will have:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a payroll position
• Excellent excel skills

This is an excellent opportunity paying up to £22,000 per annum.
