A large organisation based near Bury St Edmunds with a turnover of £2 billion + is looking to recruit an additonal Payroller to join thier well established team. 

Send all P45/46 for starters to Revenue and Customs (HMRC)
Process leavers through the system.
Update the system to reflect changes to employee details adhering to payroll deadlines.
Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all authorised amendments to the payroll system, including sickness, maternity and paternity payments. Process payments in respect of sickness, maternity and paternity in accordance with HMRC legislation as well as Company absence payments where authorised.
Undertake cleansing of information to ensure that information held is accurate and relevant.
Assisting in the production of statutory returns, year-end documentation and other reports.
Assist with the provision of payroll related information and guidance to the operational employees at all levels in the business.
Liaise with operational managers for outstanding information in a courteous and timely manner.
Maintain a monthly payroll file containing all P-Forms and appropriate changes.
Arrange payments of statutory deductions to third parties complying with deadlines.
Complete all other deductions in the same way as for statutory deductions.
Work closely with Human Resources to ensure the prompt resolution of pay queries. 

Proven payroll experience 
Thorough working knowledge of payroll and associated legislation
4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English
Ability to work to tight deadlines 
Good written, Oral and presentational skills 
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) 
Team worker
Customer Focused with excellent customer service skills
Commitment in providing a quality service
To have flexible attitude to work 
Demonstrate high standard of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
