A well known company based in Bury st edmunds are looking for a Payroll Administrator on a 3 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely and accurate payment of staff salaries and wages, in accordance with relevant conditions of service and legislation 
• Input and oversee data on system concerning employee’s pay and absence 
• Deal with high volume of queries from employees and managers as well as third parties, offering exceptional customer service throughout 


Skills/Qualifications:

• Good level of IT literacy (including MS Office applications). 
• Good numeric and literacy skills. GCSE Maths and English (A*-B) are essential, further education is desirable. 
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
• Excellent telephone manner 
• Good interpersonal skills and delivery of customer service with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business. 
• Ability to react positively to sudden and unexpected changes in demand; a “can-do” attitude 
• Organised, methodical, self-motivated and committed to providing quality service. 
• High levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion.
• Payroll experience desirable but NOT essential
