About The Role

Payroll administrator required for a busy Payroll department at an Accountancy practice in the Northampton office. The role is for an experienced Payroll Administrator to work on multiple payrolls for a variety of clients. Working as part of a team, this individual needs to be able to multi task, be able to work quickly and have excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities
• Working on all stages of payroll processing for a portfolio of varied clients, based on their specific requirements
• Corresponding with both H M Revenue and Customs and clients to deal with all payroll related queries, in a timely manner.
• Provide clients with all required reports to their deadlines
• Deal with matters relating to auto enrolment pensions
• General payroll administrative duties

About You
• Previous payroll experience essential, preferably in an accountancy practice or a payroll bureau
• Fully conversant with Sage Payroll software essential.
• A knowledge of Iris Payroll would also be an advantage
• IT literate with good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good working knowledge of payroll processing procedures and legislation
• Must be organised and can work under own initiative to meet deadlines
• Enthusiastic and willing approach to work.
