An exciting opportunity with a huge client of ours in their payroll team. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to go permanent.

Our client is looking for someone who is passionate about their job and is keen to progress through the business.


• Upload payroll data into the payroll system
• Process statutory payments i.e SSP, SMP
• Process the payroll and send reports to FC’s for checking
• Upload BACS files to the bank on time
• Maintain and update the payroll database with starters and leavers
• Produce monthly and any adhoc reports as required
• Raising and administrating third party payments
• Send out letter to new starters re Auto Enrolment within 6 weeks of start date
• Deal with Inland Revenue issues
• Respond to emails on daily basis
• Process all end of year routines
• Working with our Benefits provider and updating benefits when required
• Providing advice and downloading data for all employee benefits
• Provide general advice to employees
• Maintaining the confidentiality of the department and using discretion where necessary
• Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team
• Responding politely and promptly to external and internal customers
• Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by your manager for which training and/ or an explanation has been provided with and understood.
