Reed Accountancy are currently looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Specialist for a temporary contract, which will initially be for 3-6 months, with the potential to become permanent. The role is with a fantastic client of mine, based on the outskirts of Ipswich, paying the FTE of up to £40,000 per year (depending on experience).
The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and work on a full time basis.
The main tasks include:
- Collate timesheets for hours worked in the previous week.
- Ensure compliance with customer reporting processes before timesheets are authorised.
- Load timesheets and invoices onto customer software.
- Set up new workers and ensure compliance process is completed.
- Transfer PO numbers onto customer invoices.
- Assist with queries from workers and customers.
You will need to have experience of working in a payroll department, a good team working ethic and possess a high attention to detail.
