Part Time Accounts Assistant 25-30 hours a week, Fleet, to £30k pro rata
I’m working with a dynamic business in Fleet to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work on a part-time basis (25 - 30 hours a week, with flexibility around the specific days and times worked).
Reporting to the Finance Manager and using Sage 50, Sage Payroll and Excel, duties in this varied role will include:
Accounts Receivable – raising sales invoices on internal systems, bank receipts, debtor management and resolving internal and external queries.
Accounts Payable – processing and reconciliation of supplier invoices and monthly payment runs in accordance with agreed payment terms.
Analysis and processing of business credit cards and employee expenses.
Administration of Supplier CDA’s and Supplier Agreements.
Cashbook and bank reconciliations.
Reconciliation of Nominal Ledger Accounts.
Assisting the Finance Manager with month end tasks.
Intercompany reconciliations and monthly cross-charging.
HR administration including setting up staff on Sage and the internal HR system and issuing new starter documentation, reporting on sickness and annual leave and providing general recruitment support to the Managing Director.
This role would suit someone who is AAT qualified or with an appropriate level of equivalent work experience, ideally gained in a hands on all round SME environment. Flexibility, openness to change as well as confident communications and strong IT skills will all help you to succeed in this forward-thinking business.
