The role offers an opportunity to manage yourself in this sole role with extremely open management who are happy to offer flexible working hours to suit the applicant. My client is happy to look at candidates who have a couple of years experience (at bookkeeping level) or perhaps maturer candidates who have worked at a more senior level but looking for a step down or less hours.
The role will involve a number of duties including:
* Complete AP duties including statement recs, invoicing processing and payment runs.
* AR including raising invoices, allocations, banking and petty cash.
* VAT returns
* General administration including: basic H&S, dealing with insurance dox and picking up any calls.
Office admin - maintaining staff holidays and absence records, petty ash, stationary supplies, etc
In order to be considered you will need to have the following:
* Demonstrable bookkeeping experience up to trial balance and beyond
* Ideally part time - 5 days a week (10am-3pm) or (10-4pm) 20-25HRS per week
* Ideally you need to be a driver
* Excellent communicator
* Able to work autonomously and self motivated
* Experience of Xero accounting software an advantage but not necessary
* Qualified by experiene or AAT Qualified
* Available to start 2nd October 2017
