I have a fantastic part time opportunity in Central Bristol for an experience Administrator.  

20 hours a week (Must include a Friday afternoon)

The hourly rate is £12.30 with 20 days holiday plus an extra day for every year of service, up to 25 days.

The role will be subject to a three month probation period, after which the following benefits will become available: -

• Respond to incoming calls promptly and professionally, relaying them to the appropriate persons, passing on messages as quickly as possible either by the voicemail system or by email to the relevant person.
• Listening and forwarding on voicemail messages left on the main console to the appropriate individuals, preferably by email to leave an audit trail.
• Be responsible for the day to day operation of the telephone & voicemail system, and report any problems that may arise to the Head of Administration.
• Arrange for taxis and cars for visitors, members and staff as required. Keep details in record book for recharging purposes.
• Provide general support in the preparation of Chambers’ marketing & social events i.e. seminars, lectures, hospitality etc. as may be required.
• Provide general support to the Annex Manager on an “as-and-when required” basis.
• Undertake any other administrative/facilities related duties as may reasonably be expected of a post of this type i.e. general typing, photocopying, recycling, filing etc. as and when required.
• Adopt a pro-active and intuitive approach to the role ensuring that you address issues/likely problems before they arise rather than waiting for instructions.
• Sorting/sending post and DX in the evening – franking post and logging outgoing mail, copying timesheets/pinks. All outgoing DX details to be logged onto DX Log via the Intranet.
• “Booking In” work on the LEX computer system
• Using the LEX system, “Booking Out” completed paperwork and recording the necessary information to enable the appropriate Team Leader to price the work and determine when a fee note is to be rendered.
• Entering papers with all the necessary information to keep the LEX database and marketing systems up to date
• Provide open and effective communication channels between yourself, clients and members to encourage a sense of trust and reliability between all parties
• Encourage & sustain a high standard of communication between the clerks and other members of staff to ensure the effectiveness of the staff as a whole team
• Provide general support and carry out any “ad hoc” duties or projects with or for the Senior Clerk/Team Leaders as/when appropriate.

Must have Administration experience 

Excellent IT and Literacy Skills 

Evidence of high attention to detail and organisational skills
