Technical Support
· Research and undertake technical assessments of cases submitted by Advisers.
· Produce compliant and technically accurate suitability letters and reports within reasonable timescales
· Act as author of suitability letters which will be signed off by an appropriate qualified Adviser
· Assist in answering client queries
· Liaise with compliance department regarding technical queries
· Deal with complex cases and identify solutions

Regulatory Compliance
· Meet all regulatory and departmental requirements (as detailed within the role profile).

· Keep up to date with legislation changes and brief Advisers accordingly
· Obtain illustrations from insurers along with technical information, performance enquiries and general provider information
· Analyse raw data and research product markets to assist advisers in making client recommendations

Client Responsibilities
· Deal with clients by telephone, email, face to face and in writing
· Deal with client requests in a timely and professional manner

Administration and Record Keeping

· Manage records and data appropriately in line with Group policy.
· Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times.

· Help with the management of workflow and ensuring backlogs are minimised
· Ad hoc duties as requested

Candidate Profile

· CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or level 4 equivalent)
· Degree educated (preferred)
· Strong academic track record

Key Experience/Skills:

· Proven Paraplanning experience.
· Demonstrable relevant experience gained within an IFA or similar financial services organisation
· The jobholder must demonstrate a good knowledge of all issues relating to the Financial Planning profession and of the financial planning department.
· Critical analysis skills are essential
· Literacy and numeracy are essential
