The Client

A reputable pharmaceutical company based in West London is looking for a Personal Assistant to support the UK Managing Director.

They are looking to review CVs now but the position is available mid-September.


The Role

THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE PA ROLE.

You will be responsible for providing personal assistant support to the Managing Director.

Some of these responsibilities include:


Anticipate needs of the Managing Director to allow successful management of the company business

Pro-active management of Managing Director’s diary, preparing draft correspondence, ensuring fully briefed and co-ordination of all travel arrangements

Creation and development of a variety of PowerPoint presentations including Executive Board Meeting slides

Project management and delivery of CPU corporate meetings ensuring successful employee engagement

Internal PR and communication producing infographics, internal articles and video links

Advocate and supporter of company well-being programme

Co-ordination and minute taking of Leadership Team meetings

Build strong relationships with Leadership Team and assist on business critical projects

Timely delivery of the collation and formatting of the monthly report

Driving efficiency and productivity through careful consideration of budgets

Prepared to take on responsibilities of other ad-hoc projects that will add value to the organisation

Adheres to and operate within company guidelines and APBI Code of Practice appropriate to job role

Reports adverse events associated with the use of the company’s marketed products to the medical information and Pharmacovigilance team as per company SOPs


About you

You will have a background in PA, Events Management or Project Management but be able to demonstrate by example your experience of the above.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in either any of the above although a mixture is preferred.


Fully proficient in Microsoft Office suite – You are required to be advanced level MS Word & PowerPoint (This will be assessed prior to interview)

You must be able to demonstrate experience producing Story flows using PowerPoint as it is a key function in this role.

Impeccable typing skills both in speed and accuracy

Strong personal management skills, including time management, workload prioritisation, responsiveness, multi-tasking and flexibility
Have a strong creative ability

You will respect confidentiality

You will demonstrate initiative, with the ability to work autonomously
