My client is recruiting for a part time Operations Support Executive to be based in their modern offices near to the Gemini Retail Park.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who will enjoy playing a pivotal role in the operations team in a fast paced environment.

Someone who is self-motivated and solves problems would really fit in here, you should also have a good level of understanding of Microsoft Office with a calm nature.


Role duties include;

• Pro-actively managing collection activity
• Logging issues correctly and providing effective solutions
• Informing both customers and consolidation points of any variations to scheduled collections
• Problem solving to reach a positive outcome
• Taking corrective action where changes to schedule are identified and recording any costs if incurred
• Liaising with Account Managers to highlight and resolve issues with customers and        identify any training needs
• Co-ordinating the vehicle fleet in liaison with depots
• Tracking third party suppliers to ensure collections are being made to schedule
• Developing and maintaining good working relations with suppliers and customers
• Identifying customers suffering ongoing service issues and liaising with Account              Managers and Carrier partners to utilise expertise to identify and resolve issues
• Preparing data and reports on 3rd party suppliers performance with issues, impacts,      corrective action and costs
• Receiving confirmation of successful customer collection and successful delivery from    3rd party supplier or drivers


Salary and other benefits;

• £16,500 per annum
• 29 hours per week
• Shifts;
     - Monday – 16:00-21:00
     - Tuesday – 16:00-21:00
     - Wednesday – 16:00-21:00
     - Thursday – 16:00-21:00
     - Friday – 16:00-21:00
     - Sunday = 4hrs – On call from home – hours flexible

Ideally you will have come from a transport background however if you have strong customer service skills, are organised and an effective problem solver then you would fit into this role really well.
