Role: Operations Manager
Salary: £45k - £50k per annum plus Car Allowance
Location: Harrogate
Contract: Permanent

REED Harrogate are currently working alongside a global firm with their recruitment of an Operations Manager to cover the UK. This challenging role will be responsible for all operational activities including manufacturing, delivery of materials to site, through to installation.

The role will involve:
• Managerial responsibility for the Manufacturing, Warehouse, Distribution and Installations departments
• Customer facing, for both Domestic and Commercial projects, ensuring processes are in place and adhered to, to allow for full customer satisfaction
• Continually review production, delivery and installation processes and scheduling to maximise productivity
• Contribute to the broader business as a member of the Senior Management Team
• Advocate, adhere to and actively promote our culture of best practice Health and Safety
• Work with our Commercial team to actively build relationships with Commercial Clients, and ensure projects are fully scoped out prior to installation phase
• Regularly visit installation teams and projects throughout England and Wales, to ensure installations are running as planned, and provide a contact point for customers

The successful candidate will have a selection of the following skills:
• A background in construction would be advantageous, together with an understanding of the commercial tender process
• Experience of managing either a manufacturing or installation function previously
• Strong communication skills, with ability to connect and influence at all levels
• Ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve maximum output, including field based staff
• Flexible attitude to work, willing to travel regularly
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets
• Computer literate
• Strong organisational skills, logical and systematic, with attention to detail
