You will support the smooth running of companies various collection operations. This will include day to day administration activities as well as the management of key reporting tasks, supplier management and involvement in strategic improvement projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operations Support - monitoring and processing queries in the Operations mailbox from the Customer Service Team and suppliers
  • Provide phone support and liaise with suppliers 
  • Placing and managing orders for collection and deliveries 
  • Work in conjunction with other departments 
  • Manager, check and clear invoices for payment
  • Support projects, including the role out of tender changes, containers audits, and managing new clients


  • Supplier Management - manage suppliers to ensure services are delivered within agreed timeframes
  • Identify and develop potential cost saving opportunities with suppliers


  • Management Information - supported by and in agreement with Finance and IT colleagues and in producing supplier performance KPI’s
  • Analysing supplier KPI’s and reporting trends, concerns, improvements
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting based on supplier performance 
  • Maintain all relevant files relating to Supplier's accreditations and ensure they are complete and up to date 
  • Strong IT skills - in particular MS Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
  • CRM database experience

Salary: £22,000-£24,000

Please note this role is a 12 month contract.
